We live in a sexually charged society. Almost all advertising relies on the sensuality factor, as do games, TV, movies, books and the media.
Christians, for the most part, have been swallowed whole by a culture that seeks to destroy all that is pure, good and holy about thought, behavior, righteousness, and morality. This has led and does lead to the destruction of relationships, marriages and families.
Our culture is the enemy of God’s truth about love, which doesn’t come from sex or sensuality, but from the very heart of God. True loves gives not takes, lifts up not tears down. True love doesn’t live in anger and the destruction of marriage by any means possible.
Only as we build on a foundation of God’s will for relationships and sex will we know not only love, but also security–and joy.
Love isn’t about sex, it’s about sacrifice.
I Thessalonians 4:7-8 For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that rejects this, rejects not man, but God, who has also given unto us his holy Spirit.
