God says, only one way to Him—Jesus.
But even some, so-called, Christian movements
Challenge that simple truth.
“Bible doesn’t mean what it says.”
“We cannot discern truth.”
“We had it all wrong.”
“Can’t be so exclusive.”
“Must make it relevant for today.”
“All we need is love”
(Without the cross or repentance.)
In the process of abdicating knowledge
And the simple gospel message
Of Christ’s death for our sin
Resurrection to offer life,
Forgiveness, life and hope to all who come to Him,
And who accept His sacrifice,
We’ve lost not only truth,
But also, …
Those persuaded man’s wisdom is better than God’s,
Substitute death for life,
Confusion for the simple truth,
Available to all,
Jesus, alone, saves.
