It is pretty obvious from what is going on in America that God is lifting His hand of protection, provision and peace.
But we can turn things around, not with an outside force, but with true repentance from within. Are we ready to put Christ first and stand for His righteousness? Willing to give up our comfort zones and comfortable lifestyle to serve Him–no matter what?
Until we get right with God, not much will change as our nation turns its back on faith, on life, on truth and reaps depression, oppression and tyranny. Now and always, God is our only hope.
Isaiah 30:18 (KJV) And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
II Timothy 4:3-5 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.
Help us, Lord, turn back to You. Help me put my trust not in political parties or my own opinions, but in you alone. Help me share You with those around me that, whatever happens, they can be free in You. Amen.
