I may not be able to “see” into the distant tomorrows,
But I know He is there and He cares, because…
I “see” Him in the book He left that portrays
His positive plans and purposes
For you and me.
I “see” Him in the fierce bond
of a mother for her child.
I “see” Him in the stranger who stops
to help in time of need.
I “see” Him when He changes
hate and hurt to love and wholeness
for those who seek and follow Him.
I “see” Him in His creation,
the myriad colors of the sunset sky, and
in the majestic mountains wide and high.
Most of all, each day…
I “see” Him in the joy and hope
of His quiet presence deep
within my soul,
And I know–
His everlasting peace
In me.
