Why don’t we trust God? We often claim His name, but then go our way instead of His. Sometimes it is ignorance. Often we’re too lazy to regularly communicate with Him through prayer or to read His Word in order to know His way. Even when we know His will, we often think we know better.
Too often we add our spin to God’s Way because we don’t want to follow. We make Him a liar because we claim His name, but our choices don’t reflect His principles or love.
If we truly believe the only way to change the world is for the world to know Jesus, will we follow Him, let His love shine through us and be His light to those us around us?
Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Don’t add to his words, lest he reprove you, and you’re found a liar.
Lord, may I live my life in such a way that others will see You in my words, my actions/choices, and in my life. Amen.
