I deal in hope : Carolyn R Scheidies

Poetry Devotion The Timepiece

The older I get, the faster time zips by. I want to hold on, but like reaching for the wind, I cannot grasp time…

The timepiece
Ticks away time,
Tells us when to go where,
Faster and faster
We race its seemingly
slow hands,
And wonder
why it

See then that you walk circumspectly [carefully], not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16

Lord, help me use the time you’ve given me to honor you in my home, my church, and in society. Amen.
