This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 18:24

This morning I felt tired,
God seemed far away,
But I arose, dressed and ate,
And went to worship anyway.

This morning as I went to church,
I looked up in the sky,
Then felt His presence with me
As a cloud slowly drifted by.

Suddenly I was thankful,I got up today,
Rejoicing, I said, "Thank you, Lord."
For creating for me,
this beautiful day.

Lord, you created such a beautiful world. Help me recognize your handiwork, appreciate what you've provided and care for your creation. Amen.
