Ode to A Friend

Sister-in-laws and friends

A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17

A friend is a friend no matter how small,
For a friendship’s not based on how little or tall.
The size of a friend shouldn’t matter at all.
Only the size of the heart that hears when you call.
For a friend that is there when the other falls,
Is a friend who is truly the greatest of all.

Lord Jesus, help me appreciate my friends
and not to turn away when they need me. Amen
