Well, I’ve been sitting on my rear too long—giving up, doing nothing but vegetating.

I am standing up.
I am re-capturing my dreams
and creating new ones.
I am reaching for all God has for me,
no longer content with the status quo,
Or believing the lie that this is all there is.
God has more for me.

I am claiming His promises
and that begins with
renewed hope.

Help me, Lord, be confident not in myself, but in your plan and purpose for my life. Amen.
