I deal in hope : Carolyn R Scheidies

Poetry: Life’s Zip Ride

Life passes by in a mere blink of the eye.
Seems so long ago a child,
When anticipation quickly dimmed..
And travel bored after
Mile after mile after mile.
“Are we there yet,” became the constant cry.
Yet we grow up and begin to hang on
As life begins to zip by
And months, then years pass faster and faster.
Time FLIES!
Life become a too-fast ride.
The only place to hang on securely
Jesus Christ beside…inside
Knowing with Him
When the ride ends here,
He holds us close and takes us home
To abide with Him
For all eternity.
