I deal in hope : Carolyn R Scheidies

Poetry: Just Right Arms

Jesus’ arms are not short,
Not clutched to His chest so tight,
Nor so long they go around
Leaving you and I behind.
No. Not at all.
Instead, they hold us up when we fall,
Comfort against His loving heart,
Protect from life’s storms
And frightening nights.
Neither too long or short,
Jesus’ arms offer
Strength and and help and hope,
For Jesus’ arms are–
for you and for me,
Just right.
