I deal in hope : Carolyn R Scheidies

Poetry: Cycles

We deal with seasonal cycles
Of cold weather and warm,
Cycles of night and day, blue skies and gray.
Accept these cycles as the norm.

We deal with life cycles as well,
Good and bad, highlights and lows.
In good times we rejoice and praise,
But in difficult times–where do we go…

When our own resources aren’t enough to stop
The spiraling cycles of hurt and pain deep inside?
There is One who heals, makes whole.
But only when we turn and give Him control–
Jesus Christ!

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. –Matthew 11:28-29 (NKJV)
