I deal in hope : Carolyn R Scheidies

Devotion: He Did it For ME!

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field,
so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it,
and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
—Psalm 103:15-18

The budding flower,
the leafing tree,
The greening grass,
enfolding me.

New life, new hope,
Spring’s picture of He,
Who died upon the cross,
Then rose again for ME!

Lord, when I think of how short life is,
it amazes me you cared enough,
not just to die, but to die for me!
As you cared enough to die for me,
help me to care enough ,
however long or short my life may be,
to live it for You. Amen.

(Makes a great pantomime to act out with your children.)
